It had been 2 weeks since I got back from Beijing, things over there had not been much changes. The air there is still so hazy due to the pollution, can you imagine there 4 million of cars in Beijing equivalent to the population of Singapore and the there are 1000 of new cars added to the population everyday. Wow can't imagine what will happen in the long run.

Hmm from my point of view, I quite worried that if the country progress too fast and with high inflation. The people living there will going to have a hard time and just like what happening back home where everything had gone up ridiculously and everyone pocket is shrinking.

Let hope things will be better or else we all are going to be struggling with our penny.

Tokyo Go! Go! Go!

Just came back from one of the world most expensive city "Tokyo". This round been assigned with the "Holy Man" 勿咯宅男(Bedok Homely Boy) to this beautiful city. Initially, we had challenges finding our office location. The people are very friendly, they will tried their best to help even we had language barrier. He even bring us all the way to the exacted office building. Hmm it is a good start for the trip, I'm sure I will not regert it.

During the 2 day stay, dinning is not a challenge becos I'm a person who like Japanese food from sushi, Don, Ramen, Udon, many many more...............Yummy yummy. Hahaha! on the Bedok Homely boy had the challenges becos he dun take raw food, so when taking sushi I had to be the QC to ensure they are cooked. The sushi there is cheap (@ S$1.30 where to find), fresh and the portion is big. Hahaha! Siao liao, eat to many rice, must go back home to drink Nutrimeal liao.

Too bad I can't bring my family here, I really had to work for it to happen.

So this is my short review of Tokyo.

It had been a week since I came back from London. It's a touch and go trip, wat to do, take people money had to clear people shit. The SQ flight is quite a challenge becos the 12 hours stuck in the cramp economic seat. So I just enjoyed the movies which installed in the flight or sleep like a pig after a sumptuous meal.

London had a lot historical designed building, if you are those who like me whom enjoyed it. This would be a place u should not be missed. Currently the weather there is very the cold, especially when the wind blowing towards me. wow beri the cold lo. The standard of living is quite high and everything is expensive. I wonder how the people survive there leh?

Overall is a good experienced, if can go on Spring will be better lo. Heeheehee! But cannot be choosy @ least I no need to stay inside that freezing office lo.

One week after 2008 - walking out of depression

One week had passed and I had trying to regain my confidence to walk out from the misty swamp of depression. I know this is not going to be smooth ride and I'm sure there will setback hidden along the route to force me back to misty swamp again.

I will not allow it to happen again becos I had wasted enough time living in my comfort zone and building layers & layers of objection to give supply me 101 reasons from stepping out from my comfortable zone. There will never be the best time to make a good, but to initial the first move out of the comfort zone. I think planning is very important becos if I failed to plan, then I plan to fail.

It had been quite a while since I start to write on my blog again. Ever since I came back from Paris official trip, I had dipped into the state of depression. My project had not advanced ever since the very first day, however I had trying ways and means to improve it. But things tends to go against my wishes. I really dun know what to do now since I had invested quite a lump amount into it. I had tried to give it up, however I know the business had a great potential in it.

After doing some soul-searching, I think most probably is my laziness and stubbornness. So starting of the new year, I going to pull myself out of the depression. I dun think I had anymore luxury time to idle also.

Time is not created by man and Time will not wait for man.

Since I started reading the book: "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind" which recommended by my business partner. Overall I find this book very enriching and addicting. After I start reading it, it hardly leave my hand. Inside the content of the book is very similar to the "Secret" movie which I had watched lasted year and now a lot of people are hunting for it. I seriously recommended this book to those who had the intention for a change, however had encountered some challenges and unable to overcome it.

After joining the business, there are quite a few questions keeping wandering in my mind that I hunger for the answered. Like "Why do I join this business?", "What will I benefit from it?", "How can I expand and bring it to a greater height?", "Who can really assist me to achieve it?", "Where should start off with?" & ........................Wow it seem like never ending :P

Searching for the answered was a long and lonely route. Then few days ago, I was enlighten when I was reading the "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind" book. Finally I understand the answer is already with me all along. it is a picture of goals that I hunger to achieve and I had long painted in my mind some years back and I had totally forgotten abt it. Now I will followed my heart (Subconscious Mind) again to to contiune built my multi-pipeline. I know it is challenging and bumpy jounery. Bo pian! if I want retired as a father & relax on corner, I need to do it now or never liao lo.

I thought Calcium is just for bones

Last week, I attended a Nutritional Talk given by Jaen Ng (USANA Nutritionist) on the "Importance of Calcium Intake. Initially I thought Calcium is just Calcium lo, a reactive metal which is found inside our bones. What so special about it?

After attended, I realized the role of Calcium is not just building strong bones, but also for muscle contraction (now u know why u had muscle cramp), blood vessels contraction and expansion (helps to lower down blood pressure, no wonder my mum's blood pressure had gone down tremendously after taking the Active Calcium ).

Which type of vegetables and food contained high in Calcium other than milk, the daily intake and the truth about Calcium and Kidney Stone.

My trip to Egypt

I'm in the land of Mummy.

First time trying out the SeeSha. Really had a hard time sucking it out. Shack!

It had been a pleasant trip which I able to visit the pyramid & museum. It had been a good experienced which I can hardly experience it back home. The weather can be very hot, but luckily it is very dry, so I dun feel that bad but just a few crack lips.

In Cairo, the traffic is really bad. I can hear horning here and there, cars overtaking cars and people crossing the highway and jump out crossing out of nowhere. However the accident rate is low, hmm this really scratch my head. All the building is old and worn out, but understandable that who will going to spend the money to paint the building when it will be covered with sand the next day.

There is another interesting finding, the whole city is parking free that mean anyone can park their car anywhere. This is very hard for me as a Singaporean to understand how the city can survive when everything is in chaos. Hmm maybe they had their way to handle it.

Hope I will had a chance to visit the city again.

Since I intended to attend USANA Malaysia Grand Opening @ KLCC. So I took this opportunity to have a short trip with my wife and one of her friend to get away from the city stress. Since we had a local guide @ KL, so where to find good makan & shooping will not be a challenge liao lo. Hee hee hee, very sinful leh. From Bak Ku Teh, French food & Prata. Siao liao le, having a challenge to maintain my weight liao lo :P

The Malaysia Grand Opening is a great success, the whole place is flooded with Associate. For me is another exposure where I am able to meet up with the most successful people in the business and learn from their success stories. This is the first time I meet up with most of the Malaysia partners. Power Leh!

Overall is a fruitful trip, however dun know when I can come to KL again.

This is my first time going to Jakarta. There is a mixture of feedback on this country. After visited it, I personally felt that it is not a bad place after all, however the traffic can really be a pain lo. Our local staff had really treated us well. I must really thanks them for bringing us to to taste a wide variety of goodies. I must say the handy craft there is very cheap as compare back home, imagine you can still bargain in shopping centre.

Overall it is a fruitful trip and exposure, hope I can go again. I hope......................

Wow it had been two years since I traveled to China again. Things had changed, there are lots of high rise building and more people speaking English. Ha ha ha! I think they are ready for 2008.

During the trip, I find out that people there is hunger for success. They will grab every opportunity that come in their way. Maybe due to the billion population, everyone want to strike for success. How about us back in Singapore, everyone is breed in the glass house. We take things for granted and think success is always there for us. Good news to share

After consuming for 4 months of Essentials and Active Calcium, today I was been told by my Mum that her check up result for blood sugar and blood pressure is excellent. I nearly burst into tears after hearing it, it had quite a while since good news start coming in. With healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition, I can foresee that my mum will be by my side for quite a while.

Wow,

After going through the Nutrimeal Reset Program, it seems like result is very promising. Till today 20/07/2006, I managed to shed away 11Kg and my current weight is 75kg. I so excited about it and I can't wait to go down to 72Kg.

So to all those in weight loss program, don't give up now. The end of the tunnel is not far away, you all will succeed.

During May, before I start taking nutrimeal, I weight 86Kg.

During July, after taking nutrimeal for 8 weeks with 11 Kg lost and weight 75 Kg.

How I lost 6 KG in 3 weeks

Just sharing my experience with you guys, I managed to get rid my 6 KG tummy in 3 week with no sweat. My initially weight is 86Kg (Wow gosh, wat a pig). After taking the Nutrimeal meal replacement for 3 week, my weight down to 80Kg (Hmm, seem like thing is improving). Currently I'm still on the Nutrimeal meal replacement for the 5th weeks, I had break through the 80Kg barrier to 78KG (6Kg more to go and I will reach my goal, heehee) .

Lastly, I must thanks my dearest wife. Although she grumble a lot, but I understand she grumble because she care and love me. Thanks Dear!

It has been awhile since from my last updated. This month has been a busy and fantastic month for me. Currently I'm busy preparing with my upcoming Wedding. Things like meeting Banquet planner, Actual day photographer, discussion for Wedding Montage, printing Wedding cards, finding location for Wedding photoshoot, taking Wedding photo and Banquet guest list ................

Wow gosh, can you imagine so many to handle at one go. What to do, once in a life time, so have to give my best effort.

This month I just got promoted to a Believer and earned my first Believer collar pin. Although it is just a normal collar pin, but it had boasted my believe for my business to another new level.

I must thanks my 2 mentor K.H. & G.H. for their time and effort in helping me to build my business and also the 2 knight Jeffrey Ho & Daniel Lim (I really don't know who they are) who make purchase under my account.

What is "Antioxidant"?

Definition: An enzyme or other organic molecule that can counteract the damaging effects of oxygen in tissues. Although the term technically applies to molecules reacting with oxygen, it is often applied to molecules that protect from any free radical (molecule with unpaired electron).

An antioxidant is a substance that slows or halts oxidation, which is a type of chemical reaction that involves the release of electrons. Antioxidants are particularly important in the context of organic chemistry and biology: all living cells contain complex systems of antioxidant chemicals and/or enzymes to prevent chemical damage to the cells' components by oxidation. However, plants are the most important source of organic antioxidant chemicals, and a diet containing antioxidants from plants are required for the health of most mammals.
The importance and complexity of antioxidants in biology is reflected in a medical literature of more than 142,000 scholarly articles [1]. Antioxidants are widely used as ingredients in dietary supplements that are used for health purposes such as preventing cancer and heart disease. However, while many studies have suggested benefits for antioxidant supplements, several large clinical trials have failed to clearly demonstrate a benefit for the formulations tested, and excess supplementation may be harmful.

Living organisms all contain complex systems of antioxidant enzymes and chemicals. Some of these systems, like the thioredoxin system, are conserved through all of evolution and are required for life. Antioxidants in biological systems have multiple purposes, including defending against oxidative damage and participating in the major signaling pathways of the cells.

One major action of antioxidants in cells is to prevent damage due to the action of reactive oxygen species. Reactive oxygen species include hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), the superoxide anion (O2−), and free radicals such as the hydroxyl radical (·OH). These molecules are unstable and highly reactive, and can damage cells by chemical chain reactions such as lipid peroxidation, or formation of DNA adducts that could cause cancer-promoting mutations or cell death. All cells therefore contain antioxidants that serve to reduce or prevent this damage.

Antioxidants may be further classified by the products they form on oxidation (these can be antioxidants themselves, inert, or pro-oxidant), by what happens to the oxidation products (the antioxidant may be regenerated by different antioxidants or, in the case of "sacrificial" antioxidants, its oxidised form may be broken down by the organism) and how effective the antioxidant is against specific free radicals.

Incident that flashes back my memories

This morning, I’m really like a blur toad. I carelessly left my organizer in the bus No. 188 on my way to office. Luckily, I had my name card in the organizer or else I’ll have to say “Good Bye” to my precious organizer. I was panic and anxious whether all the infromation inside the organizer it is still there. I was relief when I got it back and I thanked the bus conductor and the driver who found it for their kindness and ethic.

After awhile, I started to think back what if I had treated my health as carelessly as I left my organizer. Will there be any kind soul by then like the one who saved my organizer, I’m really in doubt. An organizer lost came be easily replace, but how about our health, are you sure it can be replaced? Are we going to put our health on the edge and abuse our life? We will never feel the threat until the blade is drawn to our neck

I had meet “Death”; I recalled it was during the times when I repeat my O’s. Luckily, my family is there for me especially my Mum. From that day onwards, I was like a phoenix reborn the death ash and I become easy-going; more cheerful, although on and off I tend to be negative, but I just treat it as training for me grow stronger. We can’t always live in the past because there is a future ahead of us, we must learn to let go and move on.

I treasured my life and all the Bros and friends around me more than anyone. Because once they were gone, it can never be replaced. No wonder my wife will jealous. Hmm…. Maybe the passed had made me to treasure more. I must thank my wife for suffering with me, but don’t worry the best is yet to come.

What a Challenging week!

Hi all,

Just to share what a challenging week I had been through, I was assigned for an oversea trip to KL. The blessing part is the workload is still moderate which I need not work till late night, but the departure and arrival is the killing one. Imagined me and my colleague had to be in the office by 0545 to collect our stuff and depart to airport to take the first flight. On the returning trip, we had to rush for the 2145 last flight; luckily we left early for the airport or else we are going to miss the flight and camp in the airport. In my mind, I kept wondering why are we been treated this way. An Organization is just like a system, everything is money and cost comes first and the human was always factored last. Let’s think back, did they realize it is the human that get the job done and do the dirty work. In Sun Tzu’s Art of war, general must treat their man like his own kin and the men will always fight by his side no matter where the general goes. Maybe this is the common practice in the Organization: Command and Control. This really makes me feel sad and disappointed.

Luckily, I had met a team of partners which had guided me and imparted me all the positive thoughts and attitudes. I glad that I had met them and I am confidence that we will succeed. I must thank my mentors for their persistence and patient. And also thanks for the opportunity given to attend the last Friday Convention. Although I attended the PM session, but it was a happening and inspiring event where you met a lot of great people from all around the world to share their experienced and knowledge.

Free radicals have also been implicated in certain cell signalling processes. The two most important oxygen-centered free radicals are superoxide and hydroxyl radical. They are derived from molecular oxygen under reducing conditions. However, because of their reactivity, these same free radicals can participate in unwanted side reactions resulting in cell damage. Many forms of cancer are thought to be the result of reactions between free radicals and DNA, resulting in mutations that can adversely affect the cell cycle and potentially lead to malignancy. Some of the symptoms of aging such as atherosclersis are also attributed to free-radical induced oxidation of many of the chemicals making up the body. In addition free radicals contribute to alcohol-induced liver damage, perhaps more than alcohol itself. Radicals in cigartte smoke have been implicated in inactivation of alpha 1-antitrypsin in the lung. This process promotes the development of emphysema.

Free radicals may also be involved in Parkinson's disease, senile and drug-induced deafness, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer's. The classic free-radical syndrome, the iron-storage disease hemochromatosis, is typically-associated with a constellation of free-radical-related symptoms including movement disorder, psychosis, skin pigmentary melanin abnormalities, deafness, arthritis, and diabetes. The free radical theory of aging proposes that free radicals underly the aging process itself.

Because free radicals are necessary for life, the body has a number of mechanisms to minimize free radical induced damage and to repair damage which does occur, such as the enzymes superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione peroxidase and glutathione reductase. In addition, antioxidants play a key role in these defense mechanisms. These are often the three vitamins, vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin E. Further, there is good evidence bilirubin and uric acid can act as antioxidants to help neutralize certain free radicals. Bilirubin comes from the breakdown of red blood cells' contents, while uric acid is a breakdown product of purines. Too much bilirubin, though, can lead to jaundice, which could eventually damage the central nervous system, while too much uric acid causes gout.

What is "Paraben"?

These synthetic preservatives are frequently used in cosmetics and personal care products, such as shampoos, conditioners, hair styling gels, nail creams, foundations, facial masks, skin creams, and deodorants. Parabens can be an ingredient in baby lotions, shampoos, and other personal care products for children.

Methyl and propyl parabens are also allowed for use as food preservatives in small quantities. They are considered “Generally Recognized As Safe” for food uses.

Common names: methyl paraben, propyl paraben, ethyl paraben, butyl paraben
